Delicacies from Around the World

Food is the reason many of us travel. Whether it makes you lick or lips or your stomach squeamish, culinary curiosity often lures us to the edges of the modern world, in search of something sweet, savory and wholly unprecedented in regard to our gastronomic cache. Just sharing some incredible eats that I’ve come across in my travels (and sometimes, travails).

Ice cream pancake at Chatuchak Weekend Market in Bangkok.

Spinach, brie and toasted cashew crepe at The Pancake House in Amsterdam.

Dried grasshoppers served at Sangria's Bar in Cabo.

Charcuterie plate at New York City's Butter restaurant.

Brie sandwich, small cafe by the Cologne Cathedral, Cologne, Germany.

Mini hotdogs, Bangkok street vendor.

Decidedly the largest cut of liver I've ever attempted to eat - Craftsteak, MGM Grand, Las Vegas.
